Does anyone know if replacing the stock headers for a 3.8 mustang with performance headers will make any gains on horsepower or torque ? If so any suggestions on which ones to get (short or long) and which brand ? Thankkss ;o)

I'd just put new heads on. It'd cost you a grand or 2, but you'd have around 300tq, 300hp, maybe more with a a good tune.

Are you talking about the same headers I am ?? or are you talking bout the manifold or something because headers go for about $350

No. I'm talking about heads. They go on top of the block. 4v Cosworth heads will set you back a grand or 2.

Umm how can you put a 4V head on a 2V pushrod engine?

Anyway, yes if you put headers on your V6 you will get some power and you'll probably notice a small difference in it. If anything else it'll give the exhaust a deeper rumble.

wtf?? do you have any idea what your talking about? actually the heads already on that car stock are pretty damn good. it wouldnt do much to change them, maybe get them ported or something but dont waste ur money changing them. their design is very similar the the canted design used in cleveland heads.

My bad, I'm referring the to 4.0 in the 05's, not the 3.8's .
