Tried searching for the answers to my questions but no luck.

I know I have to change the dizzy out, then get a wiring harness from hassport. But what ECU should I pick up? I'm tring to figure out how to wire up this motor for a hondata. Anyextra info, tips or tricks would be apreciated.

I would think that you should use a distributor from a 3rd gen civic with an mpfi 1.6l non-vtec.

What are you trying to achieve with your A6? Is it built up or are you just trying to raise the rev-limiter and/or better the fuel maps with the Hondata ECU.

yeah get a P06 and get it chipped, (p06 = Non-vtec SOHC)

now when you say chipped... is it one of them 15 dollar Spoon chips they sell on ebay?

Know of anyplace I can buy one already chipped? I'd hate to get one off e-bay and it not work. And I'm sure Honda would want a small fortune for one.

Why go OBD1 with that engine? I personally would go preOBD and run Turboedit on a chipped PM6... Would save u alot more money than OBD and Hondata...

Chipped means someone solders on a socket that allows you to run those $5 chips on ebay, or preferably, a chip tailored to your setup...

Seems around here Hondata it popular and cheap to tune. I've mentioned Crome and Uber but most are not familar with them. I'd rather shell out the extra cash and get something that everyone's familiar with and cheap to tune. Plus I hear the Hondata is user friendly, so I can play with it too. (When I understand everything a little better.)

I will look into the Turboedit though. I haven't asked around about them. You happen to know what size injactors they max out at? I know the SAFC is only rated for 450 injectors, anything above that I'd have to get a hondata, no one has mentioned turboedit. I'm planing on 500+ injectors eventually.

The setup I want to run is going to be a stage 4 exospeed block with stage 2 head work. People say I'm shooting low when I want a 300hp rex with all the work being done. But no one will say how much HP and fully built exo block will handle. Plus after the 300 mark I'd have to upgrade fuel lines, hubs, suspension, etc. So for now I'm shooting a little low, but want everything to where it can be upgraded with out buying all new stuff.

Im not sure about the injectors... Might be able to find that info out here tho: http://www.turboedit.org/ ....

But Turboedit is basically the same as Crome and Uber (give or take a few things), only its designed for preOBD (and I think OBD1 awell) ECUs, where as Crome and Uber are strictly OBD1... Which they are programs you run on your PC, and allow u to load up a base map of the specified ECU (Fuel maps, VTEC engagement points, ect), tweak them, and then save them to ROM file, that if u have a ROM burner, you can burn to a PROM to use in that chipped socket on your ECU...
