Clubs...

I'm seeing a lot of these "club" things on here, must be a new thing or whatnot...So, what all clubs are there? I see Honda, Supra, Subaru...Is there a Mustang Club? Camaro? American Muscle?

I wanna join a club!

I'm just gauging how much I've missed in the month or so I've been AWOL.

Good question- now that 'clubs' seems to be the buzzword of the week, before we go and from two dozen more so no one gets left out, has a definition/format been worked out for exactly what an AF model club is?

It seems that willimo and blubaja have stepped forward with he initiative for Honda and Subaru, does it make sense to see how these groups start out before we all jump into one?

now, are these 'clubs' restricted to models cars or are they more related to 1:1 cars??? either way i too am a Bimmer guy.. :smile:

can you be in more than one club at a time ? how about "generic model car club" ? i like scoobs an honda an supras an all that. can't we be member of more than one ? and wont we all decend into chaos an rivalry over club like that film i saw, but it might have been a dream.

I'm certainly in for American Muscle. If no one else offers I SUPPOSE I can throw together a halfassed sig banner too, but I'm not particularily good at it...

I'm actually with RallyRaider on this one, AF is "my" club.

The whole scale Honda club came about because I was bored one night (read: procrastinating because a paper was due or something) and I made a couple banners. And then this week I was bored again and decided to call it to order. FOR THE RECORD: the scale Honda club is NOT an exclusive club of any sort. I don't really care who's in it and who's in other "clubs." FOR THE RECORD: we don't have any activities or anything, and I am not meaning to split up or polarize AF or anything.

All the scale Honda club is a banner you can stick in your sig if you like Hondas in model (or real) form.

im with will and rallyraider....AF is our club, we are an elite group of some of the best modellers spanning the globe. that in and of itself is something to be proud of. oh, kat, my girlfriend is a modeller too. maybe when we meet up it can be the four of us!!!

That'd be awesome. I don't think we'll make the meeting on the 10th, there's a dyno day Will wants to take his car to in College Station on the 9th. We'll figure something out though.

I agree that also. It is nice to read and share all these modelling stories.

I'm also a member of FCMA, finnish car modellers association, that is. We have usually two model car shows in a year. And our own discussion board. :)

Those are enough for me.

Yeah, what's the point in splitting it up? AF has all you need right here? If it aint broke, dont make a new club!
