I can't seem to figure out the problem...No brake lights at all on a '95 Monte Carlo LS. Fuses are all good, all bulbs are good, even checked the switch under the dash (by the steering column). Anyone have any ideas?

Isn't there a switch at the brake pedel? I have not looked at my son's 01 MC so I am not sure. Other cars brake lights used to be controlled with a switch at the brake pedel. Check there. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hello,
I had this same problem on 96 MC last night. I read this forum and found the problem. It is the turn signal switch in the steering column. We worked all evening looking for the problem. I read on here it might be the turn signal, went out and moved it just a little and to my surprise I have brake lights!! Something you might check.
