Hey guys,
I'm real new at this, but I love working on things.
Just got this 91 Accord and replaced the clutch.
Uppon bolting transaxle back to engine, the throwout bearing release fork became loose. After inspecting the problem I noticed that the spring clip that goes in the release fork was out of it.
Question: How do I get the spring clip back in w/o pulling tranny back out? Or can I run w/o that clip by just attaching fork back to slave cylinder?
Someone please help this newbie!!!

I'm trying to picture this. Is it actually a return spring, or just an anti-chatter spring?

can't really see any functional use except for placement and noise/movement prevention.
The slace cylinder should keep the release fork in place though.
I think.
