swap chevy grill with gmc

I am "cleaning" up my truck and so far have removed all of the molding and decals and my next project is to modify my grill. Does anybody know if a grill from a GMC will fit onto a Chevy without much modifications? I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 (not HD) and would also possibly interested in purchasing one if anybody has one if not too much work. Any other advice would be great!

and i believe the fenders are just slightly different as well b/c of the lights

Basically, the cheapest route would probably be to buy a GMC front clip from a junkyard.

why dont you get one of these...they should make them for the 2500.

isnt the grill for the 1500 the same as 2500(not hd)????? i know the HD grills are bigger but they stil fit dont they?????

you can find them in Indiana Auto and RV for about 1200.
