How do I remove the fuel tank?

Thanks for the last suggestion, I'm pretty sure it is the fuel pump that is broken, so I got a new one.
The latest challenge is getting the tank out of the truck.
I took off the front part of the the heat shield, siphoned out the gas, and then loosened the 5/8th inch nut on each strap, but the tank still won't move. Are there some other bolts that I missed? I looked around the tank as best I could and didn't find any other connectors. It seems strange that the tank will shift from side to side if I push it, but that the straps and the tank won't pull down at all. What am I missing?
Thanks again,
Eric

I know a guy who just took the box off. I think it's easier than dropping the tank.

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. I took my fuel tank off to replace the Fuel Pump and that wasn't even the problem so I'm out $250. It was my Computer. Anyhow if your sure it's your fuel pump then good luck. I took off the heat shield and the two Straps. The Straps are hooked on, you need to push them up and play with them a bit to come off. As you may know there are lines connected to the top of the tank, take these off the tank before removing the straps. The tightest line is the Fuel Line which can be disconnected from the rear drivers side tire well, there is a clip you pinch to take it off. Then disconnect the Electrical wire which has a red tab you slide off. After that there are some other ventilation type hoses that can be removed when the tank is lowered they arent real snug. Anyhow I think It's the Fuel line thats holding you up.

Hopefully you've gotten the fuel filler tube removed before taking off the straps....
