I'm considering doing the VTEC light mod and I was wondering how I can get to the ECU so I can tap into the wire for the VTEC solenoid. Is it on the driver's side or passenger's side and how can I access it?

It's on the passenger side near the door. Pull back the carpet under the dash and it's right there. There's a bracket holding it there, so just remove it and there you go.

OK I found the ECU... or so I think... it's an aluminum box with a board inside correct? If that's what it is, I don't know where the wire for the VTEC solenoid is? could somebody give me some directions on locating it?
