Hello again,
I show you here and old beginned WIP of Tamiya F40.
I always loved that car. I still have a S27 kit of the "Igol" Race F40.
I started detailling a little bit the engine, with differents nuts and bolts.

I then began to "wire" the engine.
http://62.210.160.29/ImgAlbums4/Images2/40605/JadoKSXXQ0D29062005175905299694.jpg
I worked a little bit on the body by removing the plastic meshes everywhere and opened the closed louvers.
http://62.210.160.29/ImgAlbums4/Images2/40605/JadoKSXXQ0D29062005175905118940.jpg
I also detailled the nuts on the wheels by drilling them and inserting an home made stopper.
http://62.210.160.29/ImgAlbums4/Images2/40605/JadoKSXXQ0D29062005175906788986.jpg
This is a view from the engine under construction.
http://62.210.160.29/ImgAlbums4/Images2/40605/JadoKSXXQ0D29062005175907954947.jpg
A view of the interior, with seat belts added.
http://62.210.160.29/ImgAlbums4/Images2/40605/JadoKSXXQ0D29062005175907639376.jpg
Complete engine compartment.
http://62.210.160.29/ImgAlbums4/Images2/40605/JadoKSXXQ0D290620051759075711.jpg
and finally two views of the almost finished car.
Need to paint the black line inthe medium of the body, put the rearview mirrors and the "whipper" (is that the right name for essuie glace?)

Thanks for your comments and critics?

I see the pictures just fine (and I'm even on my work internet connection :naughty: )
The kit looks good Jamme, is it really as orange as it appears or is that a trick of the light?

Hello and thank you.
No, its painted "Rosso Corsa" and the Orange shine is an unwanted trick of the light.

Looks awesome. I think the word you were looking for is "wiper" as in windshield wipers?

Superb work, well detailed. The F40 is a sweet looking car, a real pedigree in the exotic sports car world and this model looks great, the engine especially.

Hello and thank you all.
On what car do you mean?
On the 512S?
If it is that car, it is glued in place with 5min Epoxy as the customer did'nt want to open it.
Otherwise can you be more precise, please?
Thanks,
Jamme
