Center console from another car?

In case no one has noticed, the center console on the Metro is completely useless. and obviously there is no such thing as an aftermarket console for it so I'm looking to other makes/models for a console.

(And yeah, it would be best if I could take a tape measure down to the local salvage yard and just try out different options, but since I'm in rural Nebraska #1 the nearest yard is 100 miles away and #2 they have primarily, mid sized (American) cars up to full sized pickups)

So, my best bet is going to be something I can find on eBay.

Any suggestions?
