automatic transmission doesn´t get in gear

Yesterday it happend to me on my Camaro 3.8l (2000) that a heard a very ugly noise during enginestart. It sounded like to noise a starter makes when you try to start while the engine is still running. After that there was now power reaching the wheels anymore. Don´t matter in with position the shifter was.
Before that has happend a heard some sort of pumping noise when the engine was running.

It´s an Automatic transmission with about 60000 miles on the clock.

Another thing that was a bit strange: in the last time the car shifted very hard, aspecially after long and fast trips.

The fluid level was ok i´ve checked it 2 days before the incident

Do you guys have any idea what´s the problem?
