I'm going crazy

I haven't touched a model in weeks. I haven't seriously done any work in months. I don't know what I'm going to do. I've got this AWESOME Buick GSX at home, the body and engine are done, and I can't finish it! Summer jobs are awesome, but this one took me 300 miles from my modeling and I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! I get to stop by my appartment for about an hour Friday, enough time to look at the car and think man, wish I could finish it...(all it lacks pretty much is interior!) and then it's across the state for the 4th. I haven't been able to even look at the ProTouring Camaro I've wanted to build forever. And the Cobra? forget it. How am I supposed to finish anything this year??
I need counselling.

 Just concentrate on work and let the kits sit for a while; I'm going through the same thing: I started a bunch of new projects that I really want to see completed but it's vacation season and I'm thinking about starting my own business so I just look at them and go on. You'll get the time to finish them soon!:sunglasse Don't feel too bad, I haven't completed a car model yet in 2005:(

Im in a similar situation. I started remodeling my basement which is where I build. It was supposed to be a quick, "couple of weeks" project. Two months later its still not done. I am trying to hustle and finish it cause Im starting a new job in a couple of weeks which will again, take up more of my time. Once I am more situated with my new situation I will see when I can make time to pick up on building again.

We're in Lewisville, which isn't all that far from Irving. I'm not that familiar with the area, but I know we drove through it while lost one night  We're staying in an "extended stay" hotel, and I bet they'd frown on painting in the rooms. That, and the table in this place is this big -> ( ), and it's such a PAIN to pack up all the tools and supplies, then you forget something important and have to buy it again, and....it just wouldn't be worth it. Besides, when you have to be at work at 7:30 am and it's a 30 min drive, (plus we're sharing a car and he works another 10 min down the road) you tend to pass out pretty early in the evening. We've been trying for a week now to fit a movie in after work. I do my best work at about 1 am...I know that if I started working again, I'd never get to sleep. And then my work would suffer. With next semester's schedule, I MAY finish the GSX and maybe get to the primer stage of the Camaro. But that's being optimistic. I'm already tired of looking at the Ferrari on the shelf!
What Sunday this month does this club meet? We're out of town for the next two most likely...But, we haven't spent a single weekend IN town since I got here!

I haven't seen much of anything lately. I'll check it out though. It's not a....pro-touring Camaro is it?
The 10th is Will's b-day. I'm not sure where we'll be then. If we're here we may try to make it. Will you be there? Do we bring models or what?

Well that's convenient, because I don't know where anything is unless it has a sign with blinking neon lights saying "HERE I AM" and it's off I-35.
White97EX--I'm not sure I can get the Fox Body, but I did want to re-polish the paint on it so who knows. I'll pack up Will's C5R 'maro, but it's not much to look at. I've half a mind to finish it myself. We will, however, have his 1:1 '69 Camaro LT1 Hybrid here sometime in the next week; it's currently getting a tranny rebuild.
But yes, we need a GTG. Definately.

Okay, here's some important locations for your needs. A good reference point for lewisville is Lewisville High School. It is located on the corner of Valley Ridge and Main Street. On the other side of Main Street is Albertsons where you can buy all the food you need. On the other side of Valley Ridge is Autozone, Burger King, and Subconcious (The God of Sandwhich making). There are some other shops in that center as well. Across main and valley is the police station, fire station, and library. If you need any other locations, let me know. Also, where are you staying?
