How to get high 12's low 13's on a 2003 GT?
i know theres different ways, but i would like to see what each person would do. if they had the car and the money.

Exhaust, Gears, Slicks , Skinnys, throw out everything that ain't essential and weighs the car down....
Or a 75 shot....

well unless you want a price limit for a awesome DD on a higher budget then just hitting 12s i'd say a KB blower and catback

From what I have been seeing this is really the way to go. The best option for the 4.6 is supercharging, all the engine work to get the same power is likely going to be more expensive and time consuming than FI.

Gears, alum. drive shaft, flywheel (read alot of things guess the 4.6 mod flywheel weighs 20 some lbs and a alum. one will drop the 1/4 time 3 tenths???) headers, cat back, and some slicks.??? the fastest way is FI either kennebell (lots of tourqe) or a centifurge vortech etc.. (lots of high rpm power (but lacks tourqe of the line) N20 is always a option.

Carbon fiber hood, spoiler, and side panels. Take the A/C and heater out along with the back seat.
Then, get a MAC (just an example) exhaust system.
Then, put 3.55s in, with some under-drive pullies, aluminum radiator, and put in electric fans.
Next, get a K&N cold air kit, bigger throttle body, a better flowing intake mainfold, and better flowing heads.
Finally, drop a KB blower on the thing.
I think that might break the thing into the 12s.

at first i thought u were gonna bs the question qhen u started talkin bout carbon fiber hood and spoiler (thinkin u were gonna describe a ricer) but sounds good. why 3.55 gears? why not 3.73 or maybe even 4.10! hahaha

It makes things more interesting if you use a little taller gear. Besides, 3.55s are used by many sub-10 Mustangs so they seem to work well.

A 3.55:1 rear gear ratio makes for a better topend speed in the 1/4 mile and aid forced induction cars very well.

gear is your friend...go deep. you wont regret it. Ive seen guys go 355 and 373 and hated it...it almost felt the same...
and the reason 10sec cars probably use them is because they have to keep things in range at the finish line.
On a street car that you want the get up and go get some 3:73 at the least in a 5 speed. In a auto youll need 4:10s to get that ass planting feel

Unless you have a supercharger or turbocharger. Steep gears will kill you with forced induction.
