98 Contour 02 Sensors

I have a 98 Ford Contour 2.0 DOHC 4 cyl and my O2 sensor on bank one is bad... where is bank one???? and do i have 2 02 sensors?

Any help would be appreciated.

seeing that its a 4 cylinder, you only have 1 bank which is in the front of the car. You should have an upstream and downstream 02 sensor.

How do I know which one to replace?? The upstream or the downstream?

All the code checker said was 02 sensor on bank one failing.
