Well since no one else will help you...

Your best bet would be to put the Cav body on a lifted S10 frame. Lots of money though.

How to lift a cavalier. A Jack. How to keep it lifted. A Jack Stand under the axle.

How to 2 wheel a cavalier and almost flip it. It isn't hard, those fools got body roll like no other car ever, at least the OHV Cavalier does. Just take a turn out of a driveway, but when you do it start at 5 and make 90º turn at 25. I have done it leaving work.

1998 2.2 5-speed, i was going to work one morning, at about 6:45, was going down this road at 75 mph (just felt like driving like a dumbfuck, no particular reason), anyways i was approaching this sharp curve, the speed limit on the road is 45, the speed limit on this curve is 35, i went trhough it at 75, fish talied like a mother fucker, maybe 4-5 swings back and forth, i was ALL OVER the road, all you could hear was tires screeching, and i didnt even come close to flipping it

That has to be the dumbest and most redneck thing that I have ever seen. If you want to lift it the get a truck frame and by a lift kit for it and then just sit the cavy body on top of it. Anything is possbile with money. Here is mre proof of that

Rolling a stock cavalier has to be impossible. I've rolled an explorer before but never even came close to rolling my cavalier and i push it really hard. Anyways about the orginal question with lifting it, don't be dicks guys, if he likes it then thats his car. I would like to see a pic. of it though.

why would you want to?
why do that?
what's the point?
why not buy a truck?

just let the man do his thing! i think it would be the shit! maybe a little dangerous, but hey, i'm not driving it!
there's a lifted mercedes near my house, painted bright yellow, sittin on 44's. it's definitely unique, and i think it's pretty cool. but that's just my opinion. not that i would ever lift a car, but it's fun to see

just spend some time searching the net and calling some truck specialist shops. i'm sure you can find someone that can give you some good advice

and good luck

Lifting a J car, like most any FWD car is nearly impossible. You would need longer springs, shocks, struts, and the angle of the CV shafts would become severe so you would have to also drop the engine/transaxle(and the control arms would bottom out so those would need to be lowered too). And dont forget longer/repositioned brake hoses, and because the car is higher it probably would get taller tires meaning stock brakes would be not sufficient.Basically its far from practical. And its not even 4wd! Lift a Subaru Outback,AMC Eagle or Audi Quattro instead,it would be better suited for off road travel.Just because the Dukes of Hazzard lifted the General Lee Charger, doesnt make it sensible or even safe for street use.And a jacked up J car would be even less.Remember, cars handle better when they are lowered,or at stock ride height....a "Four Wheelin" General or Cavalier would be like driving a farm tractor 60mph down the road.

I have heard bronco 2s are easier then hell to flip, i have one and i went around a corner pretty fast, and it didnt flip, so how the hell do you flip a cavalier? I have however flipped a 94 ford escort wagon.....I was doing 100 mph and i hit a bridge and came off the ground quite a bit, hit the ground and the brakes locked up, slid over 300 feet missed a telephone pole by about a foot hit a small hill and flipped the sucker over..... I have a 97 cavalier, and I plan to put coilovers on it soon.

When you follow behind some of the "risky" vehicles around tight off ramps and such.....its VERY scary.Mini Vans,SUVs,Large Vans.......you can see the weight shift, the outer tire squat and the inner tire lose its squat....if the turn tightens or the speed increases, the inside tire is now nearly totally unloaded and off the pavement.Seeing this happen to a Caravan and a Sportage made me wonder if they werent going to turn turtle right in front of me.Cant these drivers feel the severe lean? Cant they tell they are exceeding the limits of their box on wheels? It feels good to take a corner in a VL with stiff struts/shocks/springs and Z24 sway bars, and the only dramatics are an occasional howl from a tire or a slight front wheel drift, but near zero lean.Of course this is kept to a minimum.....dont want to consume tires and wheel bearings any more than necessary.
