Another Car Buying Decision

OK so I'm more of a fan of the Japanese car (sorry USA) but I can't decide which brand of car to get. I want an affordable, yet stylish and reliable car.
I've narrowed it down to Acura/Honda and Infiniti/Nissan. I'm going to buy a used car of course, but I first need to determine what kind of car I'm getting. I'm thinking of a 4dr sedan.
I like the way Acura/Honda's look, heard they're reliable, but also heard they're the most stolen cars in California.
I don't like the design of the older Nissan's with the exception of the Maxima line from 1990 and up. Despite their looks, I heard they were affordable yet extremely reliable cars.
Infiniti's I've heard are very luxurious but lose out in reliability and performance.
I just need some outside opinions on which cars. Thanks a lot.
Oh I have a $10K to spend, maybe $5K if the family gets an SUV in which I'll have to chip into insurance.

nissans are not extremely reliable, they're just regular reliable. Are you looking for a larger car or a smaller car?

a car is only going to be as reliable as long as you take proper care of it.......but what cars of honda/acura or nissan/infiniti are you looking at?

I'm look at any sedan. Doesn't matter what model as long as it's a sedan that's '96 and later.
What about Subaru?
I take good care of the cars I have.

the maxima is probably your best choice, followed by the accord

I think you should get an Accord, but you could get a 4dr GSR Integra. That'd be fun!!
