it seems my belts are making noise, is this normal? i asked my cousin and he says its normal, but i only hear it on my car and nobody else's car. I dont mind it, but i'd like to get rid of the noise, it sounds like it needs some lubricate or something, any solutions? tyvm

Maybe just need a little tightening.

How old are the belts on your car?

When does the belts make noise usually? My mechanic told me that belts can sometimes squeel during a cold start up because the lack of heat causes the belts to harden up slightly making it more prone to slipping. My car had the same problem on startup.
