hey all,

just like the topic says. i want to change my gsr suspension parts to type-r. i just want to know, what parts would that be? maybe a price range, and is it worth it or is there a better way to go?

i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to cars, but i once spun out at 90mph taking a turn, i know it was just my tires losing grip but with a new suspension, would my car have better control to prevent that?

i don't know, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I really think that for the money you'd spend converting all of your suspension parts to ITR parts, you could pick up some new parts for your GSR. They would probably be a lot better than the ITR stuff and a lot cheaper. The only thing you're buying is the name on the ITR stuff.....but don't get me wrong, it's still good.

For the money, there are better options available.

you spun a FWD??
You must have talent!

just buy some teins or tokico/eibach combo suspension parts and you'll handle better than the ITR.

did u let off the gas taking the turn? if so, that's y u spun out. type r suspension would be nice, but if u want control, the best thing to do is to learn ur car's limits at an autocross/track event.

You can also spin out if you hit the brakes as you turn hard (if you are close to the limit of adhesion). I've done that myself. When you hit the brakes, all the weight goes to the front wheels, and the back can sometimes swing out because of that.
