I just finished everything and this shit happens but it was her fault though she got a ticket. Ill post up some pics later.

Sorry to hear about that, but I'm hoping that you have all her information and that you have insurance. It should take care of any repairs, so no money out of your pocket.

Well if it was her fault, I wouldn't worry about it. If she has insurance, you'll be paid.

I could e-mail or PM you a quote for repair that will be similiar if not identical at most shops. This would give you general idea of how much damage you have in $$$.

you're lucky you didn't roll over, that same 4 pt harness could've easily ended your life without a roll cage.

okay just checked out everything down at the shop and it turns out it is the whole rack and pinin(however you spell that) setup that was busted. I knew something was up when the steering wheel would spin freely :disappoin Has anybody every replaced one of those before?? It's looking like for the time being Im going to have to pay out of pocket until I get the money from the insurance, this might have to be resolved in small claims court :shakehead Oh well...but anyways the shop is trying to charge me a busting 750 for complete everything(parts, labor, etc.) and thats kindof pricey for me...Does this sound reasonable at all??? Thans again.

:lol2: Please tell me you were joking!
hows that ??? explain.
If he is not using a harness bar or a roll cage/bar, by getting in an accident and wearing a harness you have a chance of breaking your back. It pulls your sholders down but your ass is still in the seat and doesnt move so it arches your back majorly to the point were it is close to snapping. If you get pulled over wearing a harness in any state without a harness bar or cage you will get ticketed if the cop notices. Pretty hefty fine too. Just for future reference.

IMO it's not wise to mess with any safety equipment in a daily driver vehicle. All the equipment has been tested and passed standard safety test's. If your safety equipment fails, the manufacturer would be responsible, but if it has been modified, I think the rest is just common sence. The exception to this would be if you are proffesionaly racing your vehicle on a track and must install extra safety equip.
