Sand between paint and clear?

Questions says it all, should i sand between paint and clear or just clear and then sand/buff?

there is a little orange peal on a couple of peices....

color sanding is just another term for wet sanding, well your actually sanding the base (color) so some people call it color sanding. You don't have to sand the base before clear as long as it is cleared within the time window given in the tech sheets. If you need to knock down orange peel or dirt, it can be wetsanded but you will have to spray more basecoat on before you clear or you will see the scratches or dark streaks expecially if the basecoat is a metallic or pearl.
