Which do you guys think is the most responsive to mods.

Engines or Car? That will make a big difference in answers.

The Type R should be more responsive than the other 2 simply because it's built to be more responsive and faster than the other 2. I think this poll should only include the GSR and the ITR. The LS has no chance.

I meant the car. And oh yea I just threw the LS in just for kicks.

Then I'd say the LS, for exactly the reasons Schister66 said. The ITR already has a great suspension and great engine. Now look at the LS. Drive it around to get the feel of the car. Now upgrade the suspension, slap on a vtec head, and all the bolt-ons. Compare how the car drove before and after. You'd notice a big difference from how it was. Now do the same thing to an ITR. Of course you'd notice a difference with handling and engine performance (though you wouldn't be doing a head swap), but it wouldn't be as big of a difference as the before and after of the LS. So depending how you look at it, the LS would be more responsive to modifications. All in the eye of the beholder.

:iagree: but that was way too in depth thinking....now my head hurts!

O I see that's how I see it, but other people say a ITR is more responsive so I was just wondering. And another question: Why is it that a GSR can beat a LS, but still not by very much. I would think that it should have a pretty nice pull on it, but I've seen the two race with equal drivers and the GSR still only pulls some in 3rd. In the end the GSR was barely a car length ahead only if even that much.

It all depends on how you look at it. If you were comparing engines, the ITR would win hands down.

The GS-R and LS thing, probably because the LS has a tiny bit more torque than the GS-R. But the GS-R will win because of it's ability to rev higher and it has more top end power (hense the pulling in 3rd+). I think the LS is highly underrated, who needs vtec :D

I'd still rather have my GSR any day over an LS. I don't even have to think about it.

if you line up an ls and a gsr in the 1/8th mile drag strip the ls will 60ft better but may not have the same trap speed and e.t that the gsr has. the gsr's ability to rev high is the only thing its got going for it.
