87 xj needs man. trani fluid change?!?!?!

OK, this will sound crazy, but I went to change my '87's man. transmition lube fluid tonight, and spent 2 hours trying to figure out where I was supposed to be looking. I had my faithfull Chilton's under there with me, but still wasn't able to figure out where the heck my drain plug and fill plugs were. Any help? It's an 1987 Cherokee Laredo 4.0L 6cyl 5-speed man. 4x4. Thanks!
