i already did a search on painting the interior, but i want to make sure i know as much as i can before i paint it. i already painted the console trim, but now im doing the vents.

how do u take out the side vents, and how do u remove the louwers?

I think the vents just pop out... not sure about the louver thingies. Mine were painted prior to ownership... might swtich it back if I ever find a decent example in a boneyard...

get a flat head screw driver and lightly pry out the vent from the dash.

once there out you can see how to take the trim off of the vent it self.

if there is melted plastic on the part you have to take off just break it free and glue later on.

here is a picture of my dirty interior
