My kids 89 olds v6 3.8 Aircondioner compresser is making a lot of noise.Is there a way to by pass it.A belt that is smaller.Maybe the same type engine but without the AC pump ? The AC s not working anyways.

considering there WAS NEVER ANY WAY to order a 3800 without the AC option I dont see that as something you can do.
They have AC bypass for the performance guys that work with S2s...but not for S1s that I have seen.
