Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3

I know this game is old but I love it. Is there any other fans beside me?

i used to play zero, but i just got tired of the none realistic style to it, and its kinda like a badly translated japanese comic book with its story...

Zero sucks compare to 3 but 3 is cool because they have no Hondas and you can make custom decals and realistic kits. And they have the mach 1 mustang, lotus, RUF, and some more but I like it.

Hell yeah it does I just started a new file today.

I bought Txr the day it came out for the dreamcast, that was a long time ago.....dreamcast kicks ass.

dreamcast cant even be called a system, it was in a catagory of its own, ALL HALE DREAMCAST!

Man the developer's can make a new TXR game so badass if they actually put some effort into it. How bad ass would it be too have like 200+ people online on the highway at one time. They're could be like different rooms, each with their own city, and just have people openly roam it (like Midnight Club 3). That'd be cool, have team meets, HUGE races. I'm tellin ya man, TXR developers have a gem on their hands if they'd put some developement money into, much like the Burnout series blew up. It started as a modest little arcade racer, now Burnout 3 is arguebly the best racer ever on PS2

Heck yeah that would be tight. For real though if they put more money and effort in TXR it would be the best racing game out. I hope there is gonna be a TXR4 I would so buy it. Oh yeah and TXR3 is only 20 bucks brand new. The game rocks period:sunglasse

And dreamcast is the best system for me. I wished it was never discontinued. Dreamcast was like a PS2 but with less money and technology but it still was the advanced system that changed gaming IMO because of online playing and web browsing and all the other stuff. So all Hale to Dreamcast!!!

I want to get it for the PS2 and my cousin has it and I have played it and it was fun... I want it...

On TXR3 the best car imo is a Suzuki Cappuccino with all the upgrades and a turbo I4 swap, so far no other car can smoke the tires at 130 mph :smile:

The only bad part of this game is that unless you have a wanderer list you can never fully beat the game :disappoin

I have the list of wanderers, the game is unbeatable unless you have a gameshark. One of the wanderers have a requiement that you have like $400,000,000 which is impossible without using the gameshark or something like that. Makes no sense...My favorite custom car is NOB's S15. I thought it was so cool that they put his actual car in the game.

I Like the Evo 7 for a custom car it's THE GAME. And for cars I like the WRX it's the fastest for me, I run like mid 8's on 1/4mile. I'm currently working on a team decal for my cars in the garage.

The wanderer is Whrilwind Fanfare of Nagoya and I hate the GS requirement, but hey, whats done is done. Funabashi Hooligan was, IMO, the biggest pain in the ass of all the wanderers (go in every pit in Tokyo what a bunch of BS :banghead: )

The boss races are cool though because they do cool stuff. Although I'm trying to figure out what some of the movie sequences say, its a great game, 4.5 outta 5 for me :)

I hope they produce a TXR4 (with the AF GT-R :tongue: ) because this game has the potental to become as great as, dare I say, Gran Turismo.

I'm gonna try to find that wanderer. but who is that Hoolligan and what do you mean you have to go to all pits of Tokyo, does it take a long time to get him?

I started a new file and I'm on the 4th level where every stage is opened and I want to get all the wanderers.

In order to race Funibashi Hooligan you must enter every pit in Tokyo from both directions.

Hell yeah I just beat that Rose lady in the 3000GT. That car is freakin fast I won because she hit another car and I just blocked her the whole time. But I want to ask you guys what is the best car for top speed?

I'm not really sure which is the best top speed, but once I got into those high speed battles I always used the Viper or like an Evo V or VI. has anyone noticed how much easier the races are when you use a manual tranny compared to automatic?

Beat Zero was alot easier then 3. 3 I have 2 rivals left still! :mad: 2 Friggin wanders. Zero feels more like a video game 3 is alot more realistic.

Stupid Biotch windwind fanfare and the guy zero how did you guys do it?

I dunno if you read my post above, but whirlwind is that one wanderer that you have to have an impossible amount of money unless you have a gameshark, then I think Zero should show up. I wanna know if the last wanderer is still using that crazy old school 240Z, that thing was a monster!

Yea that thing was insane. I tried with gameshark an it still only goes up to 99,999,999. WTF? It only goes past if you start off a new game an once you buy a car (impossible not to) it goes back down to 99,999,999... WTF?

ANybody got a Gameshark I can borrow? lol But I bet you I probably have the best graphics lol. So lets see the pics of ur rides.
