KA24DE Motors?

Sup fellas, I own a 1995 Nissan 300zx N/A, and Im looking for a 240sx desperatly. I was gonna buy a shell and drop in a SR20DET, but I was reading on another forums that a KA24DE motor made basically into a KA24DET could perhaps be a better bet and sometimes faster? Now I had my share of thoughts about this and saying there is no way a 4 grand motor is slower than a stock motor with a turbo strapped onto it.. Now can someone correct me on this or tell me there imput and give me a link to where I can possibly buy a KA24DE motor. Cause Im looking into a 89' Hatch s13 and I cant just slap on a turbo and go...well very long at least with the original motor. Any imput would be really appreciated guys.

They are very different engines, both have great potential, do not start another one of these damn threads, just read the 812 other KA-T vs SR threads.
