Parting with my Blazer

After working through a visit to the dealer to replace my 04' 2500HD Silverado cause we no longer tow horses....focused our sites on a new 05 Equinox....and since the deals are sweet these days for GM vehicles, I found an 04 Tahoe LS with 100 miles on it and am trading in ye ole trusty 99 Blazer.

If all works well :naughty: I hope to have two new trucks tommorrow.....it should be interesting.....but getting the trucks for employee cost is just too hard to turn down....

More info later....

You might want to check this out:

Being that it is an 04 the hundred miles is probably from traveling to various tent sales and promotions in order to get it off the lot. You should be able to get a pretty good deal on it, because the 06 cars will be coming out in a few more months and they will need the space.

Isn't this the first year for the Equinox?

I would wait a minimum 3 years into a new product run before they iron all the problems out.

This is why I am not buying me GT mustang yet.

*though it is hard to wait*

Well ladies and gents...parted with the Blazer last night. I bought an 04 Tahoe and an 05 Equinox. With this new GM program going on it was just an unbelievable deal...!!!

So I suspect I will be moving over and causing trouble on the Tahoe forum.... :grinyes:

Blazee thanks for sending me that link as I brought my lap top into the dealer and discussed these and other issues with them and it helped during my negoiations....

My Blazer will be off to a wholesaler as it has too many miles on it....but was just completing the AutoRX treatment and lifters/ motor was quite as a mouse...so maybe someone will enjoy for a few more years....

I will occassionally slip in and say hi..

Take care. :smokin:
