That pretty up there in the rpms. But yes there is a screw, it's on your throttle body.

I have the same problem, but mine idles at less than 1k rpm. will this "screw" solve my problem too? does it affect the way it runs?? And where is this screw located at? please help me and zerocrx out...

the ls should idle at 750 rpms. that is normal. does the crx idle at 3k when the throttle cable is disconnected? the screw usually isn't meant to be used, unless someone else was messing with it. you might need a new throttle body. try a junk yard.

You should pull the code, it might be related to the high idle (even though it comes on when you're driving).

I feel good now that I know Im not the only one wiht that problem. I change the Intake manifold on my LS and I think the throttle body got fucked up. When I turn the car on it idles up to 3k or something, and stay there. even when the throttle cable is not conected. do you guys think is the screw? I heard somenthing involving the vacum line on top of the manifold.
nice question, I was about of posting a thread but you guys are allready helping out.

I just solve my problem today, I took it to some friend and he found the answer. When I installed the new manifold I used the new gasket for the TB that came wiht it. the gasket did not have the holes for the sensors and that was one of the reasons. Then we thight the manifold a little bit more adn PUF!! the problem stop.
The manifold was sucking air from one of the sides and that caused the Idle. I took it for a ride today, men that new manifold and fuel rail make a difference. sounds better, runs better and I got it for cheap.
before changing your Throttle body I suguest you look for every little thing that can come to your head, some times the problem is so simple that you do not bother thinking about it.

Hey, Just wanted to add some info on IAC's (Idle air control valves)
These stick open and will cause high idle conditions and most of them can be cleaned out with a little carb cleaner. So if your idle will not stay
put then....
