Trouble caused by Ethanol

Be careful when using gas containing ethanol. My 1998 Monte has had several problems over the past year - it either will not start ('feels' flooded) or it feels as if the car is only running on 4 cylinders. The fuel injectors have been fixed twice and the catalytic converter was changed out because it was 'clogged'. My local dealer ran a fuel check and found the fuel to contain 16% ethanol - way more than the 10% advertized. I now use regular leaded fuel and the problems have gone away - and I thought I was saving money buying gas with ethanol in it !!!!!
