Gsr to Type R head

if i want to convert my gsr head to a type r will the ecu be good enough or will i have to get a different ecu. if any one knows what are some problems with doing this

I think that the ITR's ECU allows it to rev higher than the GSR, besides that i don't know of any differences.

Don't waste the time...get CTR cams, and a Skunk2 intake manifold. Swapping to a ITR head on a GSR block will lower compression. But also you'll have the issue of your GSR ECU looking for the IABs, and it will have different fuel maps that won't optimize the set up.

:iagree: It would be pointless and not worth the time and money. You already have a vtec head no need to swap leave it how it is.
