97 cirrus alarm problems

Help! - my 1997 cirrus does not work! I do not have the keyless entry for the alarm system. The car will not start for more than a couple of seconds. The dealership told me to fix the lock alarm cylinder. That was fixed but the car is still the same. I’m not sure what else to do - HELP!
