how much pressure in gastank ?

a while back i had to drop the tank and repair a line where the unit goes in tank. seems it has a lot of pressure and when i stop at a station to fill up, i have to unscrew cap slowly. seems too much pressure ?

check to see if you pinched the vapor return line to the charcoal canister when you reinstalled the tank. Only thing I can think of unless your canister purge valve is bad or the canister itself is clogged.
