break in oil question

Hey I am about to do my first oil change for break in I am wondering if anyone is running synthetic oil what type and at what milage should you switch to synthetic also what is a good non synthetic oil to run in my 05 5.3 thanks

Type of oil and frequency of changes is an ongoing debate nomater who you ask. Everyone has their preferances but the most commonly agreed on synthetic brand is Mobil 1. As for the rest of your questions about break-in and when to switch brands and such..... I'm not sure of and someone else will have to help with that one.
