I've got an old 88 that I've got a lot of miles on. It is kinda "out to pasture" for the past few months because we've got a newer one (92). Either late in April or early in May (it is now June) I went out to give it it's bi-monthly start and noticed the battery was drained. I jumped it, let it run for a while and drove it around the block.
Yesterday, I went out to repeat the procedure, but it wouldn't start. I was sick of having to jump the battery, so I took it out and put a charger on it overnight. I tried it again, wouldn't start. I squirted some starting fluid in the carb, would hit but not for long. Since it had been sitting for a while, I poured some newer gas in the tank and tried again. Cranks but no hits. Anything other easy things I could try?

Your plugs are probably competely fouled up. You have to take 'em out and clean 'em, or since it is such a pain to get the one near the pass. side firewall out, just replace.
