It's a good buy for 28 grand IMO...yeah it's not an EVO or an STi performance-wise, but it was mean to be a GT car that was liveable and was just a nice car in general...I don't see how it's overrated...it's not like everyone is like "OMG 350Z fastest greatest car everrrrrrrrr"...that statement still confuses me.

You've never really talked to someone who owns one. To me, the 350Zs and their owners are becoming the Mustang owners of the Import world. I have never met a 350Z owner who was not an asshole.

Red...have you thought about a lightly used VW R32? Decent aftermarket, fun little ride (drove a freinds when he got wasted), decent/comfortable interior, and AWD.

There are so many possiblities that Red can choose from. I'd guess DSM, but that's a little too obvious and overdone. I see him picking up on a route that hardly any man travels. Hmmm...

harsh is right. what car is better in its class? new e90 330 could do it, but until this new model came out i really didn't see another car that was the complete package (value, speed/engine, handling, comfort, etc).

(not saying this b/c u own a bimmer) over on the bimmerforums, everyone has beaten a 350z/g35...including the 88 318i's. everyone hates them b/c some of the drivers have been real assholes. it's kinda funny, but i guess there can be some 350z/g35 driver douchebags out there. what did i do wrong?!?!?! :p

word. this is prolly what most of the guys on there encounter. there is a general concensus that almost all g35/350z drivers suck (i'm auto...hard to fuck that up :grinyes: ).

red, may i suggest a bmw 330i/ci/xi? get it in auto, and you're set. you can still mod it and have it be comfortable as a daily driver. prices range but i found a 2001 black 330i automatic for $22,500 w/24,550miles.
another for $19,788 that's also black, auto, but it has 75,000miles.

if that's too much, maybe a 96 chevy impala ss? i don't know, get whatever youn like...

Sheesh Bobby, you know why those races turned out in your favor. I won't say my Z was faster, but those two races weren't fair on my behalf.

First race, I let off mid way through 2nd gear cause when I looked over I didn't see you, you were in my blind spot. Soon as I let off you flew past, as you should... and I had to play catch up.

Second race on the freeway, you never gave a third definate honk. When there should of been a third honk at the cadence you were going at, I hit the gas... but realized there wasn't a honk. I let off, and you took off.

Not making excuses, that's just how things played out.

I'm sure Matty's next car will do ok. I only wanted to prove a point to him about power to weight ratio. I think he now knows what I was talking about. Not that his 240Z was slow, as it would likely beat a stock F body by several car lengths. I think Danno was right, and that my car is a runner. I don't see many F bodies running as hard as my car.
