I wouldnt think so..identity theft is if someone has your birth cert. and a bunch of other papers.

In the real world yes, on the internet it is much simpler.
If you have ever posted a photo of yourself on the net, with as little as your first name and the city you live in then I could register on another forum useing that information to pretend to be someone Im not.
