Why my butt hurts...

Yes, that's right. Tangie is saddlesore. VERY sore. The following will explain EVERYTHING... ;)

Okay, so ILNG ("i like naked girls") and I decide to go out for a nice, leisurely bike ride today. Seems harmless enough, right??? Um, NO. We rent these "cool" looking mountain bikes w/really hard seats and front suspension so that we can be all nifty looking. Little did we know what would happen over the next 22 miles. :eek:

Luckily, most of the rain held off, so the bike ride was relatively dry, but the rain from before made the trail a bit harder to negotiate. So after the first 8 or so miles, both of us begin to get a little sore around the butt. Only to be expected. Not to mention that the one way is almost entirely a very gradual up-grade. Well, rather exhausted we finally made it to the destination/resting point 11 miles away from where we started. ILNG packed quite a feast! We sat under a covered picnic pavilion for probably an hour enjoying some VERY tasty wine, yummy turkey sandwiches, and delicious "home-made" linguine salad!!! :D All this just for lil old tangie! Here's where a bit more rain came into play, but it didn't make a difference. The temperature dropped a little bit, but we were otherwise very comfortable just plopped down on the benches.

Then we decided to head back!!! Oi vey! Yes, now we had another 11 miles to go. Problem was that neither of us could really sit on the bike seats because the bruising had already begun to set in!!! :p On the way back we chatted briefly with an older woman, perhaps in her 50's... So the entire ride back our only motivation besides the seats back in the Prelude was to keep infront of the little old lady!!! *lol* It was an adventure to be remembered for ages to come!

Basically, it was a great time, even when I was sitting on my tailbone to compensate for the pain. :)

(and now we wait for the charming sore-butted Prince to post his version! :right: )

all in all it was a fun day minus the fact that it feels like ive been taken as someones bitch in prison. also, i dont think killing a bottle of wine before the drive back helped out to much either.

and that's why i stand up when i ride my bike lol..... butt pains suck when u ride a bike on a trail or something like that:hehe:
