anyone know where to get one that will fit perfectly for a 2005 ls sport 2 door? preferably the two piece one, that goes behind the rear wheel wells. ive been looking for 2 days and cant find, all i find are those universal ones which i dont care too much for. thanks for the help in advance. oh also, anyone know a decent subwoofer size/watt needed for some nice tunes. i dont listen to rap and dont need thumping very often, i would just like to compliment my daily music with some harder bass.

Build your own, or take it to an audio shop and let them whip up something for you.

For complimentary bass, I would suggest probably a single 10" or 12" sub running around 250 watts RMS. I have something pretty close to that and it works very nicely, loud enough to let its presents known, but quiet enough to not give you a headache. I actually fiberglassed my own box to put behind the rear wheel well in my 2001 two door, and it works great. Its very out of the way and doesnt take up much space. I could make you one if you want. I dont know anyone with a new style cavalier, but I could try to find someone or just use my car if the trunks are the same. Let me know if you are intersted.

Not sure... I think I used around $50 in materials (resin, fiberglass, MDF, blue shag carpet :-) ) for my box , I put probably a good 8-10 hours of work in (I didnt sand/paint the fiberglass, that would take more time). I dont know what a professional would charge per hour, but I would guess that a pair of boxes all said and done with carpet would be around $350-$450 and the sound stuff itself can greatly vary depending on brand and location. Also, I wouldnt get two subs for just complementary bass, one should do the job ok. I think you would be happier with one good quality sub than two crappy ones. Again, I am not sure on rates for professional fiberglassers so if you are serious about it, you should look some up and ask them for a quote. PM me if you want anymore of my opinions or advice.

If you've got some time on your hands, and wanna make a perfect fitting enclosure for any speakers... Fiberglass... I've attached a link to a Fiberglassing "How To" site so you can check it out if you want...

I would go witha 12". 12" usually hit a wider range on note than a 10 or a 15 does. As far as subs go check out the Infinity Kappa Prefect i have 4 12" prefects and i love them. Apline type R are also a really good sub. Know with the amps that really depends on what the sub can handle. You should try to get an amp that it close to the RMS wattage the sub can handle.

My choice in subs would be between Kicker, JL Audio, and Audiobahn.
