A/C Help, New Compressor, no power to it

'96 Sunfire,

I just replaced the compressor and loaded it with oil and R134A.
The compressor connector has no voltage to it (measures .035V) with the A/C in either Normal operation, or in the MAX position. With the switch in the Max position, the cooling fan automatically comes on, and disconnecting the 3 wire switch on the High side tube from the compressor stops the fan.

I ran a 12V wire to the compressor to load the R134A, and it pumps out cold air, so the compressor and the refrigerant are ok (measured filled on my gauge), once I disconnect the 12V jumper, compressor quits running.

I'm wondering if it could be the dash switch module.

Any suggestions?

Found the problem

The fuse block on the fender wall had a broken pin-contact on the A/C relay.
I stuck a piece of bare copper wire in it to make contact with the relay pin and it now works.
