cold air intake

Im thinking of putting a cold air intake in my 5.0 and im wondering if it actually adds any horsepower?

It does, but nothing noticeable. Some companies claim gains up to like 15hp but realisticly it's probably less than 5.

Put fenderwell mounted Cold Air Intake in my '94 5.0L - When I get a chance to test drive it, I'll post my impressions :-)

It is average for cold air kits to dyno 8-10 horses at the wheels...
