Hi, Got a 94 Cavalier that when you turn the air on, it is cold for about 3-4 seconds then turns warm. If you turn it off, then on again it is cold for 3-4 seconds again. A guy at work said my compressor wasnt turning on. He tried the paper clip in the switch trick but there are 3 wires and didnt know which ones to do since some turned the check engine light on. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your time

If your compressor was not working it would not get cold at all. You are describing a system low on freon. Check for leaks, repair as needed, and refill. It is a 94 so it may just be low. You have some loss through the rubber hoses over time. Good Luck.
