Hi all,

I've got a 1991 Cherokee Sport, 6Cyl. Auto-

I went to the gas station this morning, got gas, and my jeep wouldn't start afterwards. When I turn the key, nothing happens, except the temp gauge moving with the turn of the key. I eneded up getting it towed home, and suspected the NSS, since I've had infrequent occaisions where I had to jiggle the shifter.

I just fininshed cleaining out the nss per this thread and I still have the same problem. http://www.jeepin.com/features/nss/index.asp

Any ideas??? I'm not too saavy with ignition systems, could it be my starter solenoid? I don't know what to check for at this point.

Any help is much appreciated!

Phil

Ok, an update...

After trying crossing of the terminals and what not on the starter, I went Hi-tech and tapped on the the solenoid with a hammer, and got it started. I'm going to pull it and go get it tested and see what I need.
