i waz wondering why is it best to shift at peak horsepower as opposed to peak torque? wouldnt shifting at peak torque give u more pull?

Try shifting at the peak HP and then try shifting at the peak TQ and see whats faster. After that you will know the answer to this question.

shift at peak HP. torque is the force that rotates and hp is the force of acceleration.

dosnt a greater rotation mean a greater acceleration?

it depends on your gearing you probbly want to shift post peak regardless.

what tranny and what mods will determin it.
