Interior Computer

I've got a background in building computers and I'm decent with car electronics. I've been looking at http://www.mp3car.com/ and I've decided...I want one :P
The problem I've got is that my car is a black 1965 mustang. Beautiful classic muscle car. The classic quality would be more than a little diminished if there was a computer in the dashboard.
I remember seeing in movies like james bond where a button can be clicked, and the dash moves outwards, flips, and moves back into the dash revealing a completely different dash. Is there any actual way to do this or was it just movie magic? I can do the custom fabrication work, I'm just hoping someone else has done this and I can see how they went about it.
Thanks :)
