My taurus has 55,000K miles I purchased 2 months ago.
When I have the ac on every 5 to 15 seconds there is a slight stumble or jerk or bump so far it has been seen twice at the dealer and they cant figuer it out because there is no code being generated and the problem is not being duplicated properly I had taken the repair manager on a road test and he had felt the stumbles but he cant figuer what it could be.
I also had noticed that around 37 to 45 miles per hour the car slighly hesitates and stumbles and them kicks in and goes, this does happens all the time so is hard to duplicated at the dealer.
So far they had noticed the following and corrected: cylinder #3 and 5 mis fired when power balance was perform under load, they replaced the park plug and wire and passed the test.
The las time they did a few more test and passed them all. Still the car stumbles when AC is on and sometimes when the AC is not on, this only happens when on D not while is park.
Is an intermittent proble and very annoying because it jerks the car and is noticible, can anyone out there knows a solution? or has this happen to you? your answer will be of great help because Im going back to the dealer in a week i agree to keep a log for a week to see if that would give some type of insight I am trying everything.
Thank you all.

I had similar problems on a 97 GL and after much pain and agony it turned out to be a spark plug wire. Maybe a second look in that area would be worth the time.
