Sorry you were not pleased with you times but it takes practice to tune your car to get exactly what you want out of it. Keep racing and soon you should have better times. By the way nice car, Good luck.

Im not very kowledgable about your car, but I reckon you could benefit from some 2.1 reactions times. Good Luck.

At least you are improving quickly. From even a few runs that day you got alot better shaving 4 tenths off.

ouch~!!! as people have mentioned before, reaction time does not help your E.T. its your 60' that matters most. all of your 60' isn't so great. i'm assuming you drive a 5 speed becasue generaly a auto will have a better 60' from what i've been seeing. anyways its a shame that you broke out, you killed that mustang. oh wellz. better luck next time.

Nope. Its an automatic. And, traction...isnt an issue... so..

If traction isn't an issue than you should be working on launching harder/higher, because as Tat said your 60' look like they could improve. Nice runs though. Haha, at first I saw your username and was like 'He's running 16s in an SS? WTF?' But then I got down to your signature and it made a little more sense. Hope you had fun.

The Camaro SS ran a 13.8 (by my father) He forgot to turn TCS off.. among other things..
I launched at 1500-1700 RPM's for most of the runs. Anything past that, and the tires would start to turn.
Most of the guys with "fast" Thunderbirds completly 'ditch' the stock transmission. Its the weakest link in these cars. REALLY low stall speed, really high temps, sloppy shifting. Most guys replace the stock TC with one from a Maurder or Mark VIII, and then they do the J-Mod (drill valve body plate, new accumulators). Trust me, its on my to-do list.

Not too shabby. I wouldn't be scared to see your car at a light or anything, but i've seen 5.0's with times that are near the same. I'm sure that your could power brake the car a little higher, for some much needed oomph at the launch. I'll be going to the track again, against Danno hopefully shortly (Though i'll have BFG Drag Radials this time).
