idle problem

i have a 89 crx si with a j-spec b16 in it...i started it yesterday, and my rpms wont drop past 2500rpms. its so high and even when my cars temps gets warmed up it stays the same..i dont know how to fix this, please let me know whats up or any ideas.

I had the same problem when I put my motor in except it was stuck @ 3k, this fixed my problem. It's the fast idle throttle valve (I think it's called that) located right under the throttle body and has 2 coolant hoses goin into it.

yeah i had the same problem with my b16. screw back in the fast idle thing under then TB and it should be good.
