Attention all 924/944/968 owners and enthusiasts! 944fest 2005 is approaching. I'm not sure how many of you all are aware of 944fest or rennlist, but 944fest takes place mid July in Mansfield OH. There are people coming from all over the country to join us. Last year there were 50 cars. This year there will at LEAST be 70, more likely there will be more. We are having a cruise, raffles, food, awards, giveaways, a dyno, and much much more. Here is more info:

There are caravans coming from all over. I'll be coming from Louisville KY with atleast 4 cars. We will be meeting in Cincinnati with several more for the rest of the ride up.

looks like fun but I dont know if mine would make it there and back =)
At least if i'm having trouble I know there would be people there that would know how to fix it

Where are you located at? There are caravans coming from all over. Last year I was a little unsure of my car because I had JUST finished a clutch job. Everything went fine though. And yes, nowhere else in the world will you find a more knowledgeable group of 944 owners in one place. Last year we did a tranny swap at 2 AM!

I'm not sure of anyone coming from there. There are caravans coming from MI, and Indiana though. If you are interested in meeting up at all check out forums.rennlist.com for caravanning info.

Where is Mansfield by the way?
Mansfield is right between Cleveland and Columbus, about an hour from either. There are a couple of cars coming out of Indianapolis.

Thanks! The event was a blast. Unfortunately we had several cars drop out the week before the fest, but still ended with about 57 cars. There were some amazing cars there...absolutley incredible. 944S with 968 engine, 951 with corvette engine, track cars... I watched a 951 with a couple hundred thousand dollars in it hit over 400 hp to the wheels on the dyno, while having some serious fuel issues. Saturday night was great and perhaps the most hilarious night of my life. The cruise on Sunday was fun and no prizes went unclaimed. Pics coming soon.
