air in feul line from pump

have 88 ranger cleaned feul line and injectors replaced original fuel line with clesr one will idle nice but when you step on it it bogs down noticed air pumping up the line to the fuel rail do you think the feul pump[ is shot or what

The only way to know is to test the fuel pressure. Something that you can do for free is scan the codes. That line is probably not safe, you should use lines that are rated for high pressure fuel. EFI fuel pressure is much greater than carborated fuel pressure. You should have 40PSI at the schrader valve. You can also pull the vacuum lines from the fuel pressure regular and check for fuel in that line. If it's leaking in that vacuum line then it's shot (not line - the FPR). If I were you, I would correct the fuel line. Imagine if it broke while you were driving and sprayed 40 PSI of fuel under your hood. Ooppsss. Then check the fuel pressure.

If you have an electrial fault of a sensor that is out of whack, you computer will give you a hint. Just because a sensor is in the definition of the code, doesn't really mean it's bad. It's just telling you where it sees a fault, you need to use some logic on your own to figure out why it's throwing that code.
