Actually it's not mine. It was just at the track when I was there.
As far as I know it's got a BOV and exhaust.
The owner either works, or just got a lot of stuff from a shop here called Tunerworks.
Those are 18's btw.

Every time I see the new WRX (I know N. America didn't get the old one) I can't but help think how motherfucking ugly it is. I mean it's not like they couldn't have done something good with it.

haha, thats funny. Oh you're serious.

What - you mean that you think it looks good? You need a shitload of bolt on bodykit bits before it starts looking halfway decent.

I like it just fine. :)

The WRX right now looks to plain, I'll like it a whole lot more when the Full-blown STi model comes out next year.

Are you kidding me? It's one helluva car - under the bonnet - yummy. The driveline and interior all good. But the exterior styling is ugly as they fucking come. Front lights that look like the kid who got caught with his hands in the cookie jar - or better yet an Elephant getting it's first aenema. I mean really. Even the spoiler looks half home made. Theres no competition as far as looks go between 1st and 2nd gen Imprezas.

The spoiler I could care less about, but I really do kinda like the rest. Not for any particular reason, mind you. I think it's because I'm in favor of "no show; all go." I love it on the inside... ;)

Yeah - I love all go and no show as well. But I mean even pro. race cars get raced between meets. Even if it is all go, you still want to look at least OK - not be the laughing stock. WHo wants to own a pink Hyundai Excel with 600hp nitrous fed twin turbo AWD? No one. There is a reason too.

Just to throw my two cents in i actually dont mind how it looks at all. Its unique. Virtully every car these days seems to be taken from the same n=basic mold and tweaked here and there but they all look the same. The WRX doesnt fall into this pattern. Granted, its not always a good thing to be unique; the Aztec also looks like no other car but its fuggin ugly. In any event, i like how the WRX is styled, am dying to own one, and cant wait until the STi comes over so i can pine for somthing new.

anyway, i dont think they look great, but i dont think they look bad either. i used to think they were ugly, but it kinda grew on me. i HATE the headlights unless u do the "headlight mod" like i did.

Yea HD Light mods are one way to fix those bug-eye headlights if you dont like 'em.

1. I think that I have completely grown used to the new WRX and looking at the old imprezas, they seem just that, OLD! We didn't have the WRX in the states with the old body style. So when I think of those, I really can only think that they are as cool as an old modded up RS 2.5 liter.
2. The new imprezas are hydroformed and do very well on crash tests. The old ones only score average. So when I see a new Impreza, I think "safe" and when I see an old one, I think, "Not very safe".

I don't own a WRX, but a Nissan Maxima SE 2002... I can say I actually like the look of the WRX, even though it looks like it "should" be bigger (looks like a big car smashed into a smaller one).
Overall I think it's sexy :) Especially when its that blue color. My friend and I went to test drive it when it was raining... The beeds of water on that blue color looked SEXY.

When you see a New Impreza, you are most likely looking at a WRX. I am surprised by the very few RS and TS Imprezas in the Portland area.
When you see an old Impreza here, you are probably looking at a 1.8 or 2.2 liter Front wheel drive car.
Needless to say, the old Impreza doesn't do to much for many of us, until we are playing Gran Turismo, or watching old Rally highlights.

My .02.
At first, I didn't like this car. But after seeing a few modded and such, it's grown on me and I wouldn't mind actually getting one.

I think it looks perfectly fine, that's just my opinion. With a few exterior mods, it'll look absolutely gorgeous. I am about to do the headlight conversion in a few weeks. Wish me luck.

First off...Tsui nice car, where do you get the mods? Anyway, I have a '90 Legacy (along w/ my '02 WRX)talking about all GO and a bit of show. I bought the car about a year ago from an old lady with 22000 miles on it. I replaced the CV axels, put an intake and exaust on it and some Konigs 17's. I live in a city below Atlanta, GA and we have NOPI's everywhere and i've blown away every Honda/Acura I come up on. The only thing that has blown me away is a Turbo charged Civic ( I would hope so) I think it's pretty sad that my old Suby could hurt all those Hondas with 1000's of dollars of mods and 106hp (I even hurt a '96 with a 65 shot of nitrous) Talk about all show and NO go. So what I'm trying to say Subaru has it all figured out from the suspension to the transmission. Even the BOXER motor./ No matter what you say HONDA sux. Have fun wasting ur money. Love, Emilie

lol, sorry that not my car, its someone I know. In fact, I can't drive, I'm only 15 :)
But the answer to your question, the mods on the car, is the C-West front bumper, C-West Front Grill, however the side skirts and wing are stock. I personally prefer the full C-West Body Kit for the Impreza, excluding the wing in my opinion (I'm not fond of big wings).
The headlights are seperate. They are Morrette Twin Headlights. The twin headlights look great on the WRX, as well as a perfect replacement for the stock bug-eye lights.
You can get the C-West Kits here:
http://www.procarparts.com/store/displaydetails.cfm?pid=BDK-CW-IMP
But the only place I can find the Morrette Twin Headlights is at UK sites, but maybe a local shop might have some around your place:
http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/lights.html#p2
You can use search engines and find other site that may offer it cheaper or go on ebay. :)
